The Xijing Zaji (西京雜記), translated into English as Miscellaneous Records of the Western Capital, is an ancient Chinese collection of short stories. The collection, which is of uncertain authorship, includes 129 stories that mostly takes place in Chang'an, capital of the Western Han dynasty. Although the stories within the collection supposedly dates back to the late Western Han, however, most modern scholars consider the collection a later work, no earlier than the 3rd century (with Ge Hong being named as its compiler or one of its main editors), with stories being added during the 4th century and later.

《西京雜記》，中國古小說集，共129則，每篇短者僅十餘字，長者亦不過千餘字，相傳是東晉葛洪著，一說漢朝劉歆作，史學家顧頡剛在《中國史學入門》指出：《西京雜記》這本書，「講了漢朝的許多故事。書的作者是誰？沒有定論。有的說是劉歆，有的說是晉朝的葛洪」。「西京」指京都長安。全書「採輯既富」，所記多為西漢遺聞軼事、時尚風習、奇人絕技等：如：南粵王趙佗獻南海島所產珊瑚樹于長安，王嬙不願賄畫工致遠嫁匈奴，卓文君作《白頭吟》，每年八月四日，戚夫人總要陪劉邦下圍棋等事，亦出自此書。
