王亶望（？ - 1781年），山西臨汾人。江蘇巡撫王師之子。早年為舉人。因捐資獲得知縣職務，授官雲南武定知府。乾隆三十九年，轉任甘肅布政使。乾隆四十二年，升為浙江巡撫，因上報旱災有功，擢升為陝甘總督。乾隆四十六年（1781年），大學士阿桂赴浙江勘察海塘工程時，彈劾杭嘉湖道王燧和嘉興知府陳虞盛貪浮，牽連到王亶望。阿桂前往甘肅鎮壓河州回民蘇四十三之亂時發現天下大雨，並無旱象。乾隆帝派侍郎楊魁到浙江會同巡撫陳輝祖嚴審王亶望。乾隆四十六年王亶望被斬，下令勒爾謹自裁，王廷贊處以絞刑，沒收亶望財產折合白銀300萬兩，史稱甘肅冒賑案。
