16  | 七月十六日，太皇太后生辰，上節名曰坤成。有司檢討故事，北朝當遣使人。乾興元年，章獻太后垂簾，各遣生辰使人，亦曾致書。嘉祐二年，虜母聽政，真宗之妻，於仁宗皇帝為弟婦，即難通問。是時，每遣國信使，即致書洪基云：請侍次聞達。其回書亦洪基傳達母后之辭。使者到彼國，即洪基殿通書母后殿，傳達遣使之語，及致禮物，當時以謂得禮。今洪基，英宗皇帝之弟也。於太皇太后亦難通問。朝廷方采用嘉祐故事，無以易焉。 |
