127  | 十一月丁丑，以西南路招討使宗寧等為賀宋正旦使。戊寅，幸東宮。上謂皇太子曰：「吾兒在儲貳之位，朕為汝措天下，當無復有經營之事。汝惟無忘祖宗純厚之風，以勤修道德為孝，明信賞罰為治而已。昔唐太宗謂其子高宗曰：『吾伐高麗不克終，汝可繼之。』如此之事，朕不以遺汝。如遼之海濱王，以國人愛其子，嫉而殺之，此何理也。子為眾愛，愈為美事，所為若此，安有不亡。唐太宗有道之君，而謂其子高宗曰：『爾於李績無恩。今以事出之，我死，宜即授以僕射，彼必致死力矣。』君人者，焉用偽為。受恩於父，安有忘報於子者乎？朕御臣下，惟以誠實耳。」群臣皆稱萬歲。丙戌，朝享于太廟。丁亥，有事于圓丘，大赦。癸巳，群臣奉上尊號曰應天興祚欽文廣武仁德聖孝皇帝。乙未，詔中外。 |
