漢孔安國字子國，夫子十一世孫。少學《詩》於申公，授《尚書》于伏生。漢、魯共王壞孔子舊宅以廣其居，於壁中得所藏《古文尚書》。安國乃考論古今文字，撰衆師之義，凡五十九篇，為四十六巻，悉上送官承詔作傳，引序，各冠其篇首，定五十八篇，以授都尉朝，而司馬遷亦従安國問故。遷書多古文說，朝授膠東庸生，謂之《尚書古文之學。後漢扶風杜林傳《古文尚書》，同郡賈逵為之作訓，馬融作傳，鄭𤣥亦為之註。然其所傳，唯二十九篇，又雜以今文，非孔舊本。晉世秘府所存，有《古文尚書》經文，今無有傳者。至東晉，豫章內史梅賾，始得安國之傳，奏之，時又闕《舜典》一篇。齊建武中，呉姚興方於大桁市得其書，奏上，比馬、鄭所註，多二十八字，於是始列于學官。唐時従祀宋封曲阜伯。

孔　臧孔子十一代孫父藂，以都尉破項羽功，封蓼侯。臧嗣爵，歴位九卿，武帝時遷御史大夫，辭曰：「臣世以經學為家相，承作訓法，今俗儒繁說逺本，雜以妖妄，難可以訓。侍中安國受詔，綴集古義，臣乞為太常，典臣家業，與安國紀綱古訓，使永埀後嗣」。帝從之，禮賜如三公，著書十篇。安國臧，從弟也。顔。　異曲阜人復聖十一代孫，武帝時為濟南亭長，以亷直見稱，官至中大夫孔安國字子國，臧從弟。武帝時為博士，承詔作《書傳》，又作《孝經傳》、《論語訓解》。楊　何字叔元，菑川人。從王同受《易》，以授太中大夫京房，元光中，亦徵為太中大夫。夏侯始昌。魯人通《五經》，以《齊詩》、《尚書》教授」。自董仲舒、韓嬰死後，武帝得始昌，甚重之。始，昌明於隂陽先言柏梁臺災，至期果災，後選為昌邑王太傅。族子勝亦以儒顯名。
