56  | 隆舜，唐僖宗丁酉乾符四年卽位，年十七歲。明年，改元貞明，又改元嵯耶、承知、大同，改國號曰大封民國。遣使於唐請和，詔許之。自勸龍晟至世隆以來，侵蜀伐安南，用兵五十餘年，帑藏不給，橫斂於民，上下倶困。舜立，耽於酒色，委政臣下，故願求和於唐，乃遣段寶詣嶺南節度使辛讜，請修好。讜奏，許之，以息邊患。乾符六年，遣使於唐求和親，無表，只用牒，稱弟不稱臣。唐帝召百官議，禮部侍郞崔澹曰：「南詔無禮，恐貽後笑。」使者上書與澹爭。帝諭解之。議者謂中國多故，南詔寖強，不若權與和親。便從之。僖宗庚子廣明元年春正月，唐命宗正少卿李龜年來和親。僖宗辛丑中和元年，上表款附。中和癸卯三年，唐以宗室女為安化長公主，妻隆舜，僖宗乙已光啟元年，遣宰相趙隆眉、清平官楊奇鯤、段義宗三人，朝唐帝行在，且迎公主。高駢在淮陽飛章上言：「三人南詔心腹。宜止而酖之。」唐帝從其言。隆眉等死，南詔遂不復振矣。是年昆崙國進美女，舜嬖之。光啟二年地震，龍首、龍尾二關、三陽城皆崩。昭宗己巳乾寧四年，隆舜多內嬖，常信讒以誅其下，淫虐日甚。豎臣楊登弒之於東京，在位二十年，子舜化貞立。 |
