十月壬戌，帝至東都。《略記》：九月辛未入東都。今從《隋帝紀》。十二年五月，帝於景華宫求螢火，得數斛，夜放之。吳兢《貞觀政要》：貞觀八年，上謂侍臣曰：「人君之言，不可容易隋埸，帝幸甘泉宮，恠無螢火，敕云：「捉取螢火，於宮照夜」，所司遽遣數千人採拾，進五百轝於宮側，小事尚爾，況其大乎！」今從《隋書》。
