文德元年正月，朱全忠為蔡州都統。新紀：「正月癸亥，全忠為蔡州都統」。編遺錄：「二月癸未，上以時溥阻我兼鎮，具事奏聞。丙戌，上奉唐帝正月二十五日制命，授蔡州四面行營都統」。則丙戍乃全忠受詔之日。實錄、薛居正五代史皆云「二月丙戌」，因此而誤也。舊紀：「五月丁酉朔，制以全忠為蔡州都統」。月日尤誤。今從編遺錄、新紀。
