133  | 宋向敏中，字常之。在西京時，有僧暮過村家求宿，主人不許，因寢門外。夜有盜攜一婦人及囊衣出，僧念，本強求宿，今有盜必謂我矣，遂亡去。忽墮眢井，婦人已殺在井。明日，主人搜訪得之，解縣掠治。僧自誣云：「與子婦姦誘俱亡，恐覺，遂殺匿之，偶亦墜井，贓在井畔，不知何人取去？」獄成，府亦不疑。敏中引僧詰問數四，但云宿負此人死爾。因問，乃以實對。因緩獄，密使吏訪其賊。吏食於村店，店嫗聞其自府來，不知其吏也，問曰：「僧某獄何如？」吏紿曰：「笞死矣。」嫗歎息曰：「今獲賊何如？」曰：「雖獲亦不問矣。」嫗曰：「然則，言之無傷，乃某村某甲少年所為。」並指示其舍。吏就掩捕，按問具服，並得其贓。一府咸以公為神。 |
