17  | 己巳，安化軍節度使沈承禮卒。承禮，字正臣，吳興人，錢鏐辟置幕下，攝䖏州刺史。鏐卒，子元瓘以其女妻之，署以牙校。及錢俶襲位，加承禮知威武軍節度使。王師征江南，俶命承禮率所部助攻毗陵，平之；又攻潤州，吳人夜竊出焚外柵，將帥皆欲馳救，承禮曰：古人有言：撃東南而備西北者，此之謂也。命士皆擐甲、蓐食，堅壁不動。他壘不設備者，悉驚擾。獨承禮所部整肅，吳人不敢窺。既平丹陽，遂率兵抵建業。江南平，太祖録其功，特授威武軍節度、福州管內觀察䖏置等使。上郎位，錢俶盡獻浙右之地，以承禮為密州刺史、安化軍節度使。至是卒，年六十七。詔輟視朝兩日，贈太子太保，葬事官給。 |
