2  | 乾隆庚申，河南巡撫雅爾圖奏：「文鏡在豫，百姓至今怨恨，豫省賢良祠不應列入。」 |
| 1 | 李紱，字穆堂，臨川人。生有異稟，讀書日二十冊。由編修超五階為庶子。世宗在潛邸即知其名，及即位，授廣西巡撫。當是時，廟堂痛懲朋黨之習，尚書蔡珽適獲戾，李面保，忌者因目為死黨。而河南巡撫田文鏡者，由縣丞至巡撫，察察為明，聖眷隆甚，嚴吏治，一劾輒數十員。雍正間，李以直隸總督入覲，過豫，一揖未了，即厲聲問田曰：「公身任封疆，有心蹂踐讀書人，何耶？」田立以李語入奏。李入，亦首劾田負國殃民，又連疏糾劾。會御史謝濟世亦劾田，世宗以濟世所言與李奏一一脗合，明是結黨傾陷，宜嚴懲。於是內外諸臣，以全力排李，必欲死之。上知其才，又惡其倔強到底，欲摧折而用之。兩次決囚，縛李西市，刀加頸，問：「此時知田文鏡好否？」李奏：「臣愚，雖死不知文鏡好處。」乃宣旨赦還。 |
