57  | 遼耶律大石稱帝於起兒漫。先是，大石以諫遼主不從，遂殺北院樞密蕭乙薛，自立為王，率眾西走。至可敦城，駐于北庭都護府，會西鄙七州十八部，諭以興復事，得精兵萬餘，置官吏，立排甲，具器械。又遺書假道于回鶻王畢勒哥。畢勒哥得書，即迎至邸，願質子孫為附庸，送至境外。所過敵者勝之，降者安之，兵行萬里，歸者數國，獲牛、羊、駝、馬不可勝計。至尋思乾，西域諸國舉兵十萬號忽兒珊，來拒戰。大石分所部為三軍，進擊，大敗之，僵尸數十里。駐兵尋思乾凡九十日，回回國王來降，貢方物。又西行，至起兒漫。群臣共冊立大石為帝，改元延慶，號曰天祐皇帝，妻蕭氏為昭德皇后。是為西遼。 |
