3  | 轉相煽惑，醜黨遂繁。因而據險營巢，伏戎於莽。以乾隆四十九年四月十五日，猝起變於小山。迨田五為提督剛塔所敗，勢蹙自戕。餘黨張文慶、馬四娃等複乘機嘯聚，與剛塔相拒於馬家堡。剛塔不能仰承指示，預斷其飛走之路，致翻山宵遁，遂蔓延四出，肆其猖獗。賴我皇上魁柄親操，威弧遐指，赫然天斷，易將臨戎。特命兵部尚書福康安為陝甘總督，統兵進討。複詔大學士阿桂督師策應。摧鋒轉戰，捷書旅來。逆回無路可逃，釜底游魂，群聚守於石峰堡。石峰堡者，通渭之所屬也。萬山環抱，孤峰雲舉。羊腸鳥道，詰屈僅通。自前代號天險。阿桂、福康安等恭承方略，先列柵樹砦，使聲勢相連，以防衝突。複斷其水道，使困暍難存。生路既窮，迫而宵潰。是歲七月初五日，焚巢掃穴，並俘致行殿，明正典刑。鯨鯢梟獍，所殲戮幾及萬人，而後淨盡根株，西陲大定。館臣因恭錄諭旨奏章，編次月日，勒為一編，以昭睿謨之廣遠。臣等鞠跽恭讀，而深繹戡定之聖算。 |
