1  | 葛從周，字通美，濮州鄄城人也。曾祖阮，祖遇賢，父簡，累贈兵部尚書。從周少豁達，有智略，初入黃巢軍，漸至軍校。唐中和四年三月，太祖大破巢軍于王滿渡，從周與兵于淄、青間。時兗州齊克護軍于任城，從周敗之，擒其將呂全真。淄人不受制，復與之戰，獲其驍將鞏約。會青州以步騎萬餘人列三寨於金嶺，以厄要害，從周與朱珍大殲其眾，擄其將楊昭範五人而還。至大梁，不解甲，徑至板橋擊蔡賊，破盧瑭寨；瑭自溺而死，又于赤岡殺蔡軍二萬餘人。從討謝殷于亳州，擒之。迴襲曹州，擄刺史丘宏禮以歸。與兗、鄆軍遇于臨濮之劉橋，殺數萬人，朱瑄、硃瑾僅以身免，擒都將鄒務卿已下五十人。從太祖至范縣，復與朱瑄戰，擄尹萬榮等三人，遂平濮州。未幾，與朱珍擊蔡賊于陳、亳間，獲都將石璠。 |
