18  | 察度，父為浦添間切謝那村奧間大親；業農，質性純厚。天女來格而生察度，始為浦添按司；有德，國人歸服。元至正中，西威薨，世子幼，母妃亂政；眾廢世子，奉以為王。即位後，災變日銷，國家豐饒。明洪武初，遣行人楊載頒詔至國，奉貢歸誠。樂天事大，遠夷震懾，南夷宮古島、八重山島相率朝貢。太祖授以鍍金銀印，封為中山王。復向慕文教，時遣子弟及國秀入監讀書。太祖賜閩人三十六姓，以充朝貢譯使。文明日啟，漸染華風；倭人不敢向邇。 |
