1  | 丞相溫公河內司馬光君實撰。初，光嘗約戰國至秦二世，如《左氏》體為志八卷以進。英宗悅之，遂命論次歷代君臣事迹，起周威烈，迄乎五代，就秘閣置局。神宗御製序，賜名《資治通鑒》。及補外，聽以書局自隨。元豐七年書成。上曰：「賢於荀悅《漢紀》遠矣。」目錄仿《史記》年表，年經國緯，用劉羲叟長歷氣朔，而撮新書精要散於其中。《考異》參諸家異同，正其謬誤，而歸於一。總三百五十卷。 |
