3  | 端拱元年五月辛酉，詔置秘閣于崇文院中堂。按《六典》，祕書省中外三閣，掌典圖書，古今文字皆在禁中。兩漢或徙金馬門外，歷代不常其處。唐季亂離，中原多故，儒雅之風，幾將墜地。故百王之書，蕩然散失，蘭台延閣，空存名號。上崇尚儒術、屢下明詔，訪求群書，四方文籍，往往而出，未數年間，已充牣於書府矣。至是，乃於史館建秘閣，仍選三館書萬餘卷以實其中，及內出古畫墨跡藏其中。凡史館先貯天文、占候、讖緯、方術書五千十二卷，圖畫百十四軸，盡付秘閣。有晉王羲之、獻之、庾亮、蕭子雲、唐太宗、明皇、顏真卿、歐陽詢、柳公權、懷素、懷仁墨跡，顧愷之畫維摩詰像、韓幹馬、薛稷鶴、戴崧牛及近代東丹王李贊華千角鹿、西川黃筌白兔，亦一時之妙也。 |
