2  | 玄宗宴於勤政樓下，巷無居人。宴罷，帝猶垂簾以觀。兵部侍郎盧絢謂帝已歸宮掖，垂鞭案轡，橫縱樓下。絢負文雅之稱，而復風標清粹，帝一見不覺目送之，問左右曰：「誰？」近臣具以絢名氏對之，帝亟稱其蘊藉。是時林甫方持權忌能，帝左右寵倖，未嘗不厚以金帛為賄，由是帝之動靜，林甫無不知之。翌日，林甫召絢之子弟謂曰：「賢尊以素望清崇，今南方藉才，聖上有交廣之寄，可乎若憚遐方，即當請老；不然，以賓詹仍分務東洛，亦優賢之命也。子歸而具道建議可否。」於是絢以賓詹為請。林甫恐乖眾望，出為華州刺史，不旬月，誣其有疾，為郡不理，授太子詹事，員外安置。 |
