方宗誠（1818年－1888年），字存之，號柏堂。安徽桐城魯谼人。方松之子。早年為諸生，早年授徒養家。繼承桐城文派，被譽為「桐城正脈，今在柏堂」。結交吳廷棟等人。咸豐二年(1852)，太平軍攻陷桐城，避亂魯谼山中，藏書多被焚掠。同治元年(1862年)，入河南巡撫嚴樹森幕，奏疏多出其手。曾國藩為直隸總督，薦方宗誠為棗強知縣。光緒六年（1880年）辭官歸隱，與彭玉麟同游全國山川。著《俟命錄》。有子方培浚。
