呂嘉問，字望之，北宋壽州（今安徽鳳台）人。呂公綽孫，出身仕宦世家，史稱「呂氏更執國政，三世四人，世家之盛，則未之有也。」以祖蔭入官，支援王安石變法，提舉市易務三司使。當時呂公弼對王安石新法有異議，打算上疏反對。屬稾甫就，呂嘉問竊其稿以助安石。被呂家稱為「家賊」。王安石罷相後，自江寧府貶知潤州。官至寶文閣待制。今有《與元翰札》傳世。
