周能，字廷舉，直隸順天府昌平縣人，明朝外戚，明憲宗的外祖父。周能祖父周得清，祖母杜氏，父親周福山，母親郭氏。周能的女兒周氏為明英宗貴妃，生皇子朱見深。明英宗複位，授周能錦衣衛千戶，賞賜非常豐厚。周能去世，長子周壽嗣職。朱見深即位為明憲宗，周貴妃為孝肅皇太后。明憲宗擢升舅舅周壽為左府都督同知。成化三年（1467年）十一月乙亥，封周壽為慶雲伯，成化四年（1468年）四月甲午追封外祖父周能慶雲侯。成化十七年（1481年）十二月加追贈太傅、寧國公，諡榮靖。追封周能妻甄氏為寧國公夫人。
