王審琦（925年 - 974年），字仲寶，本遼西人，後移居洛陽。後漢乾祐三年（948年），應募入伍，成為樞密使郭威麾下。顯德元年（954年）「高平之戰」中與趙匡胤等一戰成名。王審琦和石守信等人都是宋太祖的「結社兄弟」，後周時均擔任軍隊將領，後周末年，官拜殿前都虞侯。趙匡胤成為皇帝之後，因有「翊戴之勛」，任命為殿前都指揮使。
建隆二年（961年）七月，趙匡胤聽趙普之建議，行杯酒釋兵權，解除了王審琦的兵權，出為忠正軍節度使，鎮壽春八年。開寶二年（969年）從征太原，次年改鎮許州，留居京師。開寶六年（973年）與高懷德並加同中書門下平章事。七年（974年）八月，卒，年五十。
審琦為官操守清廉，去世後趙匡胤親至其住所哭靈，賜中書令，追封琅琊郡王，後又追贈為秦王，謚號「正懿」。有九子，王承衍、王承衎等，每人一座府院，人稱「九院王氏」，「遂為京師甲族」。承衍娶宋太祖趙匡胤的長女昭慶公主。
據宋書，王審琦有關于喝酒的趣聞，他本不能飲酒，一日和宋太祖宴，太祖稱與其布衣交，應共富貴，試飲之，王審琦飲十杯而無苦。後來和太祖一起喝，能喝，回到家中，就不能飲酒，強飲酒會生病。
